Hello, I'm Randy, the founder of Royal Blue Fitness. My journey into fitness is deeply personal, shaped by early experiences of overcoming weight challenges and bullying. That pivotal summer before 6th grade wasn't just about losing weight; it was the start of a lifelong commitment to health and the power of transformation.


Despite the early start, my journey wasn't without its hurdles. Through high school and beyond, I faced the consequences of uninformed training – injuries and chronic pain from overtraining and a sedentary professional life. These challenges led me to a crossroads: continue my career in biotech or pursue a path that aligned with my passion for health and wellness. My choice was clear.


In the world of fitness, my personal experiences became my strength, allowing me to empathize deeply with those I train. From weight loss and strength gains to health-driven goals and pain relief, I've shared in the journeys of thousands, finding immense fulfillment in each client's progress.


At Royal Blue Fitness, we're more than a team; we're a community united by a mission to provide a safe space for well-being and growth. Witnessing the blossoming relationships between our clients and professionals, and celebrating each milestone, is a constant reminder of why I chose this path.

Hi, I'm Kennedy, a certified personal trainer specializing in strength training at Royal Blue Fitness. My fitness journey is marked by overcoming personal challenges and transforming them into strengths, a philosophy I bring to every training session.


From my early days grappling with scoliosis to navigating knee injuries, my experiences have not just shaped me but also honed my expertise in corrective exercise. These challenges fueled my passion for strength training and high-intensity sports, from bodybuilding to powerlifting, equipping me with the knowledge to ensure safe and effective workouts for my clients.


My approach to training is based on empathy and understanding. Growing up with asthma, I know the importance of balancing intensity with individual capability. This insight guides my training philosophy: workouts should be efficient, enjoyable, and tailored to individual needs, not just a "go hard or go home" ethos.


As a trainer, I am proud of my ability to lead by example, showcasing the power of resilience and dedication. My experiences have taught me that anyone can overcome limitations and achieve fitness goals with the proper guidance and mindset. I am committed to leading you on your journey to strength and wellness at Royal Blue Fitness, ensuring that each step is taken with confidence and care.

Marissa Ordonez

CPT, Pain Free Performance Specialist

Hello, I'm Marissa and Personal Training has been my passion for almost a decade! Coming from a big soccer family, I've been playing since I could walk and played at Diablo Valley College. Becoming a mom in 2010 and again in 2011 brought immense joy to my life, but it also came with challenges to my weight. I had reached 205 lbs. Immersed in motherhood, I lost touch with my health until I decided to make a change for a healthier mind and body. I just wanted to feel healthy again!


Determined to reclaim my health, I lost 67 lbs and found inspiration in a mom group fitness class at the park. Soon after, I was encouraged by a colleague, I ventured into competitive bodybuilding, securing 2nd place in my second show. This ignited my love for fitness. This experience lead me to explore CrossFit, powerlifting, strength training, muscle building, and nutrition. In pursuit of my professional career as a trainer, I now hold certifications in personal training and pain-free performance. I specialize in nutritional guidance, weight loss, body transformation, muscle building, and strength building. I emphasize proper exercise techniques for safety and mind-body connection.


My passion lies in helping others achieve their health and fitness goals through nutrition and exercise. I believe in the transformative power of fitness and I am dedicated to guiding you with support and empathy through your unique journey. Health is wealth!


Beyond fitness, I'm a proud and supportive travel baseball mom and the head coach for girls' basketball at Kings Valley Christian. In my free time, I enjoy playing co-ed softball and soccer, spending time with my kids, arts and crafts, as well as cooking delicious meals for my boys and the people I love.
